Not content to rest on our laurels, we set out for a 6 mile loop trail of Seminole Canyon, which terminated in the Rio Grande, the Amistad aquifer, and the Mexican border. The trip was flat, and the air cool and breezy. The scenery was great, however, Jen had left her auto- focusing digital camera leaving only my manual focus, which I have rapidly discovered is impossible to focus using the tiny TFT screen on it. Hiking back we passed an old couple, and stopped to discuss some of the local blooming thistles with them. We failed to convince Sparky to touch the thistle. As the sun set, there wasn't a cloud in the sky, and we fired up the grill and prepared the steaks. Right now, the camp across from us is filled with retards with bongo drums. They had better get it out of their systems quickly, or we'll be grilling them as well. That is, if Jen doesn't incinerate us while she attempts to light the petrol lamp across from me.
