Day 5 Summary

A view of the Upper Falls, as we drove by. This view was obtained a little closer to the precipice than advisable. Across Yellowstone Canyon.
She's only smiling because we haven't hiked up yet. Lower Falls on the way down Uncle Tom's Trail. Mom turned back before the bottom, a couple there took my picture.
We hiked along the rim until we came to Artist's Point. Norris Basin fumed liked a scene from Dante's Inferno. Pearl Geyser was particularly iridescent.
Cistern Geyser seemed to attract a fair sized crowd. Corporal Geyser was black, a rare color in the basin. Emerald Spring
Green Dragon Spring marked the end of our stroll, the pathway had collapsed. Porcelain Basin lay to the north, but it was too late in the day to visit. Geysers lay beyond even the furthest pathes.
Sour lake lay above Sulphur Cauldron. Dragons Breath Spring made a continual roaring.
